No experience is necessary. Each trainee will begin at his or her level depending on previous experience. Everyone is taken from their own personal level and progresses forward on an individual basis. My goal is for each trainee is to reach the highest possible level during the alloted instruction period.

You should be in good physical condition to perform the proper techniques it takes to trim or shoe a horse. Excessive strength is not necessary. You must be able to read and comprehend materials from the text. Written assignments and examinations will also be part of the curriculum. If testing is a problem, oral exams are an alternative.
